ASSOCIATE MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPIST

Samantha Tien is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist supervised by Dayna Tevis, LMFT. She earned her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

Samantha believes that growth happens in safe, supportive relationships where clients feel deeply heard and understood. Her approach is person-centered and attachment-based, focusing on building trust and connection as the foundation for healing. She has worked closely with teens, young adults, and families in various levels of care. Samantha integrates a psychodynamic approach with humanistic modalities to address a wide range of issues including but not limited to: addiction, childhood trauma, post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, grief, and life adjustments.

In her sessions, Samantha blends Humanistic, Attachment-Based, CBT, Solution-Focused, and Family Systems approaches to help the client explore unconscious patterns, valuing each client’s unique story. Samantha strives to offer warmth, empathy, and curiosity, helping clients move through pain and self-doubt toward a greater sense of peace, connection, and authenticity to live a life with greater purpose.
